Looking for that final class to round out your Spring semester? Take ANT 231: Modern American Indians!

ANT 231: Modern American Indians

You're invited to join Dr. Eric Bates this Spring (2016) for a class
that introduces you to the many social/cultural challenges
facing Native Americans today.

ANT 231 uses an interdisciplinary approach in which we discuss issues
of Indian identity, sovereignty, Native women, stereotypes, Indian health care,
Native activism, and so much more!

Students will walk away with a greater understanding of the many
components of cultural sustainability and, in keeping with social justice, be
challenged to make a difference in their own social worlds.

This class is offered Wednesday from 6:15-9:00 pm.
