Anthropology Students to present at the Annual ASK Meetings

On April 5 our department will be well represented at the annual meetings of Anthropologists and Sociologists of Kentucky (ASK) at Centre College. NKU student Colin Bindas will present a poster on “A Distributional Analysis of Obsidian Artifacts from the Maya Lowlands.” Dr. Doug Hume and several of his students from last summer’s Belize Ethnographic Field School will host a roundtable on “A Cultural Sketch of Sugar Cane Farming Communities: Findings from the Ethnographic Field School in Belize, June 2013.” Doug will chair the roundtable, and the nine NKU participating students include: Adelle Bricking, Jessica Boggs, Rosa Christophel, Jesse Hendricks, Gabrielle Locke, Lydia Schuldt, Evan Steelman, Nicholas Thaxton, and Stephanie Zach. Way to go, NKU Anthropology!
