Tuath an Ard Tíre Ardaí: The Celtic Studies Club

Tuath an Ard Tíre Ardaí: The Celtic Studies Club will celebrate Imbolc/the start of salmon fishing season/Burns Night/St. Brigit's Day on Wednesday at 4:00pm in the usual meeting spot, LA 203.

Imbolc, the ancient Celtic holy day that celebrates the lactation of ewes, will be represented by ewe's milk cheese. The start of salmon fishing season will be represented by smoked salmon on brown bread, in the style of Durty Nellie’s Inn at Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. Robert Burns Night will be celebrated with haggis and homemade shortbread. We also will be making St. Brigit crosses. Tuath an Ard Tíre Ardaí: The Celtic Studies Club does not care what your race, color, creed, sex, gender, marital status, or ethnicity is; all are welcome.
